Songlines – Darwin

ln April 2021 Flying Fox Fabrics moved to a new home – in Darwin. We can now be found at Songlines gallery in Stuart Park, only 1.6 km from the CBD in a fabulous large space on the Stuart Highway. It made the ideal home for us – Darwin is close to our partner art centres in Top End remote communities and is also a mecca for people seeking out ethical First Nations arts and crafts.

Songlines is a wonderfully diverse shop and gallery that showcases fine art, quality crafts, fabrics, books, Better World Arts homewares, souvenirs and other goodies. The entire Flying Fox Fabrics range is on display at Songlines and is constantly expanding and being updated as new stock arrives.

Songlines is open five days a week: Tuesday to Saturday, throughout the year. For more information about Songlines go here.

Flying Fox Fabrics Australia Post Local Business Hero Felicity Wright
In July 2022 Flying Fox Fabrics was recognised by Australia Post as a Local Business Hero. My frequent trips to Winnellie Post Office to send out parcels to destinations all over the world caught the attention of a staff member who made the nomination.

Inside Songlines you will find the largest range of Indigenous fabrics hand and digitally printed in the world. Songlines specialises in fabrics printed in Australia and this makes it unique.
