Metrey Craft (WFW)
I met Chanveasna Nhean of Metrey Craft when I lived in Street 178 in Phnom Penh. She had a shop called Happy Silk, across the road from Kravan House and a block from my home. She stocked a range of lovely accessories that she explained were made by staff in her workshop, she employed people with a range of disabilities. As demand for CCC Project accessories grew, Metrey Craft (also trading as Women For Women Foundation) became an important partner and makes some of our most popular products including the Delia bag.

During the pandemic Flying Fox Fabrics continued to send fabric to Cambodia so that partners could make products for us. Veasna often credits Flying Fox Fabrics with being the only wholesale partner that continued to order and we became her enterprise’s only source of income for a couple of years.
